Bangkok Day 1

Land of the Rising Sun

So our connecting flight was to Tokyo at the Narita International Airport. First off, it was Japan so you know they had to have some futuristic Bobby Digital type stuff. I will be trying to make more regular updates but for now I will just post some pictures of things we've done so far.

What a ride!

Well we made it to our hotel in one piece and you really can't ask for more than that. Now the trip to the hotel is a whole other story. I have never spent so many hours of the day sitting down in my entire life (i know it might be hard to believe). The first flight was 15 hours and it wasn't that bad, we were able to catchup on some movies we have been meaning to see in the theatres that we never got a chance to. We spent the rest of the time trying to figure out ways to take the numbness out of our a**'s. This might be a little too much info but it started from the left and then to the right and how some how made it's way to my knee. I never knew that a joint could go numb. Sharifa slept for the most part when she wasn't helping me with my situation but i refused to fall asleep on the first leg of the flight and set myself up for failure once we arrive in Thailand. The steady supply of coke, water, coffee helped me have a very long and intimate relationship with the lavatory. I understand that I'm a little on the heavy side but would it kill them to add an extra 6-12 inches of space in those things? I had to carefully plan on how i would maneuver in order to conduct my business. On the other hand Delta's customer service was
pretty good, they definitely know how to treat their customers. It was a great experience to fly with them the entire way. Oh, I forgot to tell you how my lovely wife almost got us arrested for knowingly purchasing counterfeit goods by letting a member of an organization that will remain nameless that is one of the things on our agenda. Well it's 9:30 pm over here and we're about to go eat dinner so I will try to make this a daily thing but if I don't please forgive me, after all it's our honeymoon.
